How We Are Changing
Our marketing and technical efforts focus on projects that fit with our technology capabilities, our primary markets, and where we see growth opportunities. This focus helps us to more fully understand our customer needs and react to those needs quickly.
We are currently working to improve our product range and our processes to get new and better products to market faster. Having the right people (senior managers, scientists, sales and marketing, supply chain and customers) contributing to progress at the right places facilitates shortening the time of development, production and delivery of products to customers. Quite simply, innovation is derived from great people and teams that are well led, managed, and encouraged to think and work in their areas of expertise.
Innovation Drivers
Our dedication to innovative solutions to customer needs is intensified by the complex challenges of environmental responsibility, cost competiveness, and ever increasing world-wide regulatory requirements. This complexity is driving the need for better products with less environmental impact, and is a challenge we embrace. For example, “Green Initiatives” are pushing customers away from products derived from petroleum and toward those derived from oleochemicals. While oleochemical-based products have been common in many markets since the 1970s and before, the current emphasis on protection of the environmental and biodegradability is a compelling driver for novel replacement chemicals which are oleochemical based.
Possibly the most important characteristic of Vantage Specialty Chemicals is our ability to innovate and thrive amid these challenges that our customers grapple with on a daily basis.
